Capitol Hill

Our Capitol Hill tour explores some of the most famous and haunted dive bars in the area. Come take a 2.5 hour stroll with us as we explore the most popular house side dive bar, a haunted church, a former funeral home that was converted into a bar, and even get close enough to feel the ghosts that haunt the Capitol. Our haunted dive bar tour is sure to entertain and fulfill all your “spirit” needs. You will be taken on a tour by a costumed Washington D.C. licensed tour guide along a walking route that will explore the history and haunted past of some of the most famous places in Washington D.C. The tour will stop at approximately 3-4 different dive bars and some historical and haunted places along the way. The tour combines a good mix of haunted and historical stories, while allowing time at each bar for a beverage. This tour also comes with a surprise gift for each person during check-in. All tour guests must be 21+.

Departure Information: All tours depart at 8:30pm from the Capitol Lounge (click map below), 229 Pennsylvania Ave SE Washington, D.C. 20003. Please arrive at least 15 minutes prior to departure for check in. We meet outside the front entrance of the Capitol Lounge, just look for the person in costume. Capitol South is the closest metro stop to the The Capitol Lounge. It is ~3 blocks from our starting point, just proceed North on 1st St SE until Independence Ave and go east(right), proceed 1 block until you see Pennsylvania Ave and bear right. The Capitol lounge will be a half block on the right.

All tours also require a liability waiver to be signed prior to departure (sorry we didn’t pave the sidewalks and trust us, they can be tricky).
